LIFE is like a Cup of Coffee

I put this video to teach n tell to myself that too many things around are fake, sometimes are good only in appearance. D main thing is d content of life itself n how I enjoy n appreciate n further more can share to others d happiness / knowledge even only a simple help.

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: "If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups have been taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.

Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups... And then you began eyeing each other's cups.

Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of life we live.

Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee. Savor the coffee, not the cups! The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything. LIVE SIMPLY. LOVE GENEROUSLY. CARE DEEPLY. SPEAK KINDLY.

Ketika KeCeWA

Soalnya “Beliau” ngomongnya manis plus dgn pernak perniknya yg plus minus itu; klo saya kecewa ya wajar aja dong. Coba laen kali tolong yaa hati2 klo ngundang.

Tawaran utk gabung dgn “Organisasi” yg mengklaim professional, punya leadership yg tinggi tapi sepertinya tdk terlihat setelah saya memasuki beberapa pintu setelahnya. Boleh jadi memang pada akhirnya saya bukan merupakan pilihan yg tepat utk mereka, tapi mbok yaa cara2 mereka mengundang itu yg awalnya baik kok akhirnya tdk ditutup dgn santun yaa.

Jadi malu sendiri klo inget deh. Sesama muslim idealnya saling menghargai satu sama laen. Jadi (sekali lagi) saya bener2 jengkel ama kelakuan si “Beliau: itu.

Walking in d beach near fancy hotel across Bali, there r many foreigners like this month. Palm trees were swinging in a fine climate. Never forgot taking hundred photos of these moments. Flying, eating out, and strolling in d beach, doing window shopping - my feeling has been spoiled by this blessed of gift.

RaMadan Preparation

Sahabat, Bulan Ramadan Insya Allah akan tiba di bulan kemudian dengan penuh rahmat & barakah dari Allah swt. Bulan dimana Allah swt memberikan curahan & limpahan yg sangat indah kepada setiap umatNya yg menjalankan dgn baik & penuh ikhlas.

Beberapa catatan kecil patut dipersiapkan agar ibadah puasa bulan Ramadan kita lebih khusu, diantaranya adalah:

a) Sebaiknya mempersiapkan semua keperluan yang berkaitan dengan Ibadah puasa bulan Ramadan jauh2 hari, sehingga kita dapat lebih fokus pada kegiatan peribadahan.

b) Dimulai dari sekarang untuk membiasakan diri mengatur jam tidur lebih baik. Karena tidak mau kan kita menjalankan ibadah puasa bulan Ramadan tapi prosentasi tidur lebih banyak daripada mengerjakan amal2 sholeh itu sendiri.

c) Harus lebih dapat memanfaatkan waktu dengan sebaik2 ibadah: kurangi nonton TV dan hal2 yg tdk membawa manfaat. Persiapkan diri untuk mengisi waktu dengan hal2 yg kreatif dan lebih bermakna, mulailah dengan menghapal surat2 pendek Al Quran Nur Karim.

d) Laksanakan shadaqoh jangan putus – sesuaikan dengan kemampuan (Innamal`amalu binniyat)

Berdoalah agar kita semua dapat bertemu dan menikmati bulan terbaik diantara duabelas bulan. Have a blessed month of Ramadan.

The Road to Success is not straight

There is a curve called FAILURE, a loop called CONFUSION, speed bumps called FRIENDS, caution lights called FAMILY, and you will have flats called JOBS.

But, if you have a spare called DETERMINATION, an engine called PERSEVERANCE, insurance called FAITH, and a driver called ALLAH SWT, you will make it to a place called SUCCESS!
